Description

The Amerex 10173 Vent Check is a safety device required in the actuation network of Amerex Dry Chemical / ICS / Modular systems that use nitrogen pressure. Installed downstream of the Pneumatic Control Head (or the Electric/Pneumatic Control Head), this valve helps relieve residual pressure that builds up after system activation, preventing unintended or delayed opening of the control head valve. Built of machined brass with an internal spring and nylon ball mechanism, it helps ensure reliable system reset and safe operation.
