Description

The Fireboy MA2-MA20100227-BL extinguisher is a clean-agent, pre-engineered fixed system intended to protect enclosed engine rooms or machinery spaces up to 100 cubic feet. It discharges automatically when ambient temperature reaches 175°F (79°C) but can also be triggered manually via accessory release cable. Filled with HFC-227ea (commonly known as FM-200®/FE-227™), it extinguishes fires by total flooding—leaving no water or powdery residue, making it ideal for sensitive equipment and occupied spaces. The unit includes a stainless steel mounting bracket and a helm station status indicator light, allowing vertical, horizontal, or upward-angled mounting.
