Description

The AVD6L is a portable extinguisher filled with the AVD (Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion) mist agent, specifically engineered to suppress lithium-ion battery fires and ordinary Class A fires. Its mist formulation cools, isolates, and prevents thermal propagation, while resisting reignition—making it more effective for battery fire risks than typical water, foam, or dry agents.
Manufactured in a stainless steel cylinder with brass valve and stainless handles, the AVD6L unit is helium-leak tested and UL listed under file EX29073 for Class A fire performance. It is also backed by verification testing witnessed by UL Solutions for lithium battery fire suppression under NTA 8133 protocols.
