The Ansul^® single pole double throw (SPDT) fire safety Microswitch is a critical component of a fire suppression system. When a fire occurs, it switches off power to the heating element and electrical appliances and stops the fan from providing oxygen. The exhaust stays on to remove smoke from the fire.

The Microswitch is compatible with Ansul^® restaurant fire suppression models — the PIRANHA Dual Agent and R-102 restaurant systems.

Electronic or magnetic starter motor relay boxes act as the fire protection parts of the Ansul^® Microswitch by controlling power shutdown. If your restaurant has a large hood, you may need two or more switches.
